Oh Dae-Su is kidnapped and imprisoned in a cell for 15 years without explanation. He then is released, equipped with money, a cellphone and expensive clothes. One of the greatest movies in Asian cinema history, and also one of the more well-known. A blood-red journey of vengeance. Contains a handful of scenes that will make your jaw hit the floor, and one particular fist fight which made headlines all across the world. It turned now well-known actor Choi Min-sik (The Quiet Family) into a superstar, and was directed by one of South Korea's best film makers Park Chan-wook, who's responsible for gems like Thirst (2009) and Joint Security Area (2000).

Genre: Drama/Mystery/Thriller
